Research, wireframe, prototype, and test designs to better assist in the claims and policy experience for customers and insurance agencies across desktop and mobile applications.

  • In-depth research on standard usability practices and how they react with new emerging technologies.

  • Wireframe and prototype flows based on client and consumer needs while iterating based on testing and feedback.

  • Develop and define tests using UserTesting.com for unmoderated testing.

  • Lead week long design sprints and other similar workshops to quickly plan, build, and test designs and concepts.

  • Create simple animations using 2D and 3D software to teach users how to complete complex tasks.

  • Edit and compile sample videos of products and software for demos and presentations.

  • Guide and mentor interns and new hires.

    Examples of work:
    - A prototype for an application that takes a series of photos of a vehicle intended to be used for automated estimation and valuation for insurance claims and policies.

    - A ground-up redesign initiative for a first-party casualty claims system which involved numerous client site visits for journey map sessions, user shadowing, and user interviews.

    - Conduct user interviews to develop new personas for internal users.

    Examples of work for design and interaction planning:
    - A medication tracker to be used by parents of children with ADHD for iOS which helped parents to understand what medications helped or negatively affected their children.
    - A mobile communication tool for iOS which connected nurses with patients recovering from open heart surgeries to help speed up recovery time and reduce chances of further injury and infections
