As a proof-of-concept, Charlotte-Mecklenburg had the idea for an iPad based application for students and teachers. The idea was to have one application track the goals and progress of students from kindergarten through 8th grade. Students can track their own individual goals and academics, while teachers were able to keep an eye on high-level details such as progression and attendance.
Student Portal
The student is able to keep an eye on their daily schedules, upcoming tests and homework, as well as their proficiency in grades related to academics and future career goals.
Teacher Portal
The teacher is able to view the same information of the individual student while also being able to have a quick view of a student's attendance and alerts.
