Roche - Accu-Chek
Being one of the first FDA approved medical devices for tracking and calculating diabetes, the Roche Accu-Chek system was a groundbreaking project. The user was able to pair a bluetooth glucose meter with their android phone and receive live recommendations on how much insulin or carbs they needed to balance themselves out.

The project was massive and contained a plethora of navigation routes - however, 3 key features stood out...

The Logbook
The homescreen logbook feature was possibly the most important view of information for any user. This is where the user would enter their meals and activity, as well as any other traits that could affect their blood sugar such as energy level.

The Meter
While a user could get away with using the application without a meter, having one connected directly to the application allowed for faster and more accurate readings and recommendations.

The Advisor
Once food and activity levels are entered, the advisor would be able to determine a recommendation on what actions should be taken.

Attention to detail and displaying information was by far the most crucial component to the application. Any misunderstanding could have terrible consequences on the user.
